Kendall Jenner, daughter of Kris Jenner, has launched the tequila brand 818 along with her sisters Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kris Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian. Kendall, who has participated in blind tastings and global tasting competitions, traveled to the distillery in Mexico where the tequila is produced before its launch. The tequila 818, produced by Grupo Solave using traditional methods from Amatitán in Jalisco, has received multiple awards, including Best Reposado Tequila at the World Tequila Awards. In October 2021, the brand announced a partnership with Sacred to support rural Mexican communities producing agave spirits, creating the 818 Bricks Program that repurposes agave fibers into construction bricks.
